Richard Berry is a full time husband, dad, doctor and a night-time woodworker.  Knot on my Shelf specializes in one of a kind custom woodworking items, mainly focusing on live edge pieces hand crafted with locally sourced and sustainable hardwood lumber.

Ohio has an abundance of curly and spalted maple, black walnut, red and white oak with many others just waiting to be crafted into your unique item.

Coffee, entryway and dining tables are the most popular items to come out of the shop, but items as small as chopping boards or as large as full libraries with rolling ladders can be designed and made as a unique statement piece in your home.  No two pieces are the same just as no two homes are the same.  Customization and design means each piece is original and crafted for you.
